Congressman Kim Sworn-in for Second Term Representing New Jersey’s 3rd District
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) released the following statement after being sworn-in to a second term in Congress representing New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District.
“It’s an honor to represent the community where I was raised as its member of Congress,” said Congressman Kim. “The past two years have posed incredible challenges for our neighbors across Burlington and Ocean Counties. But even in the darkest times, I’ve seen New Jerseyans come together to find common purpose in lending a hand and making our country a better, safer place. In the next two years, I look forward to working with and for the people that make New Jersey the best place in America to live. I look forward to working to make it a better place to raise a family, a better place for our veterans and military families, and a better place for our small businesses. And I look forward to working with my colleagues from both parties to make that happen.”
Last month, Congressman Kim released a report outlining his efforts to help Burlington and Ocean Counties during the 116th Congress. The full report can be found by clicking here.
Congressman Kim is a member of the bipartisan House Select Committee on the Coronavirus Crisis, where he serves as one of twelve members of the House tasked with conducting oversight over programs aimed at ending the Coronavirus pandemic and helping address the economic impact it’s having on the American people.
