“Today, our nation witnessed the time-honored tradition of our sacred democracy with the swearing in the 46^th President of the United States, Joe Biden; and our first-ever female Vice President, Kamala Harris. Over the past few weeks, our democracy has been tested, but our institutions and democratic values have stood strong. As we start this new chapter in American history, we must move forward together. Many real challenges are on the horizon, but I am confident that working in unity we will overcome these trials. I look forward to working with President Biden to create real improvements for the hard-working American people and to work towards a more perfect union, with liberty and justice for all Americans.”
