Speaker Mike Johnson will administer the oath of office on the House floor after the first suspension vote is called on the House floor. Following the 6:30 PM vote series, Congresswoman-Elect Analilia Mejia will take a photo with Speaker Mike Johnson for a ceremonial oath of office photo.

When sworn into Congress, Congresswoman-Elect Analilia Mejia will shrink the Republican majority, making it where House Republicans can only lose one vote.
