Congresswoman Pou Statement on New Jersey Transit Strike Agreement

PATERSON, NJ – Congresswoman Nellie Pou (D-NJ-09) this evening commented on the agreement between New Jersey Transit and engineers, ending a painful rail strike.

“I am very grateful that both sides acted with urgency this weekend and have come to an agreement. That is excellent news heading into the week,” said Congresswoman Pou. “It is my hope that transit service will be largely back to normal by Tuesday. Let’s get the system running and people back on their trains as soon as possible.”
