Conserve Wildlife Foundation in Collaboration with D&R Greenway Land Trust Presents Birds of New Jersey Sunday August 10, 2pm
Please register now at www.drgreenway.org to join D&R Greenway Land Trust at the Discovery Center at Point Breeze, 101 E. Park St. Bordentown, NJ for a special presentation in collaboration with our partner Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey. We will be hosting Wildlife Biologist Harrison Hepding to learn from his hands-on expertise with extensive birding across the state of New Jersey and his travels elsewhere. Seating is limited, cost to attend of $15 benefits the Discovery Center at Point Breeze.
Harrison earned his B.S. in Marine Biology from the University of Rhode Island, where he realized his passion for wildlife biology. He is an avid birder, and most of his post-graduation work has centered around avian research. Harrison is collaborating with D&R Greenway’s Alliance For Watershed Education Fellow Joseph Woodmansee on historical avian research for an upcoming exhibit this fall. Joseph has been sharing his own naturalist knowledge and birding skills with attendees on our naturalist guided kayak trips this season. Conserve Wildlife Foundation is dedicated to the conservation and preservation of all rare species in the state of New Jersey.
Take some time to explore the unique 60-acre Point Breeze, the former Joseph Bonaparte estate in Bordentown, before or after the program. The Discovery Center museum is open to visitors from 12pm to 4pm on weekends this summer. Special events require pre-registration as our seating capacity is limited. Register for this event at www.drgreenway.org.
