Corrado Bills Fueling More Open Space Projects Clear Senate
Projects Include Blue Acres Acquisitions in Flood Zones and Green Acres Parks
The acquisition and management of land for conservation will proceed under two bills sponsored by Senator Kristin Corrado and advanced today by the Senate.
“Every county in the state will benefit from these bills,” said Corrado (R-40). “These are initiatives that will improve the standard of living in our densely populated Garden State, including the development of parks and recreation lands, and purchasing and maintaining acreage for Green Acres and crucial Blue Acres projects.
“These are worthwhile investments that the voters endorsed for the betterment and preservation of our state.”
Corrado’s bills have bipartisan sponsorship, and constitutionally dedicated Corporate Business Tax revenue provides the funding
