COUNCILMAN FLAVIO RIVERA ENDORSES MAYOR ANDRE SAYEGH FOR MAY 10 RE-ELECTION
PATERSON – Paterson Councilman Flavio Rivera, the current Finance Chair and former Council President, has endorsed Mayor Andre Sayegh for re-election. Rivera cites Mayor Sayegh’s solid fiscal policies and critical partnerships with federal, state, and local leaders as the key to putting Paterson on the right track.
“I am proud to announce my endorsement of Mayor Andre Sayegh for re-election,” said Rivera. “I have had the pleasure of working with Mayor Sayegh and have been impressed with his leadership on the financial management of Paterson. I applaud Mayor Sayegh’s policies that have improved Paterson’s fiscal condition, reducing the amount of transitional aid the City needs from the state. He is leading the City to become more economically self-sufficient, and on Tuesday, May 10, I ask the community to join me in voting 1A to re-elect Mayor Andre Sayegh.”
“I am proud to have worked alongside Councilman Rivera on many issues. He knows that Paterson has made progress in becoming more self-sufficient and staying on the path of financial responsibility. I am encouraged by his support to move the City forward.”
