Councilman Phil Cohen Files Double the Amount of Required Petition Signatures

Councilman Phil Cohen  filed 141 petition signatures, more than double the amount required to qualify for the ballot.

In the hundreds of conversations I’ve had with 5th Ward voters over the summer, I received a strongly positive response to my message of working to improve all Hoboken residents’ quality of life and keeping our city on a sound long-term fiscal path,” said Councilman Cohen. “I am communicating my record of accomplishment, including working on the successful completion of the transformative Northwest Resiliency Park, defending our public waterfront at Union Dry Dock, being responsive and accessible, and strongly backing major infrastructure upgrades, such as Vision Zero improvements and Rebuild By Design resiliency infrastructure.”

Between now and Election Day on November 7, Phil Cohen will intensify his grassroots outreach. Elected to the Hoboken Council in 2019, Mr. Cohen is running for reelection to his 5th Ward seat.
