Craig Guy Announces Experienced Campaign Team for County Executive Run

JERSEY CITY, NJ – Hudson County Executive candidate Craig Guy is announcing that he has hired an experienced campaign team made up of some of the state’s top political consultants and strategists for the upcoming June Primary Election. Working closely with campaign manager Julietta Vogt, the Guy team will focus on reaching Democratic Primary voters with targeted messaging, outreach and organizing.

“Throughout my career in public service I have seen how critical it is to build a strong team, and I am very proud to announce this distinguished group of professionals who will help our campaign succeed,” said Guy. “With the support of Democratic leaders and community advocates throughout Hudson County, I am excited to begin this campaign and deliver our positive message of continuing to move Hudson forward.”

The Guy for County Executive Team includes:

Michael Soliman of Mercury will serve as Senior Advisor and Chief Political Strategist. Soliman is a Partner at Mercury, one of the country’s most prestigious public affairs firms and is highly regarded for his work on several high-profile statewide and local campaigns. He is a top political advisor to several elected officials at both the state and federal levels, including U.S. Senator Robert Menendez, works closely with the New Jersey Congressional delegation, and is an advisor to Congressman Rob Menendez, among others.

Brendan Gill of The BGill Group will serve as general consultant and senior strategist, and Alixon Collazos of The BGill Group will direct the campaign’s Latino community outreach. The BGill Group is a full-service public affairs firm with a record of success spanning more than two decades. CEO Brendan Gill has served on every statewide campaign since 2002, including as campaign manager for Governor Phil Murphy, US Senator Cory Booker, and US Senator Frank Lautenberg. Senior Partner Alixon Collazos, recognized as one of New Jersey’s top Latino political consultants, served as Director of Latino Outreach for Governor Phil Murphy’s 2017 campaign.

Michele Sorvino of Hudson River Strategies will be the campaign’s fundraising consultant and finance director. Michele is a seasoned fundraiser with a wealth of experience working under prominent political figures in Hudson, Bergen and Essex County. Her notable work with Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise, the Hudson County Democratic Organization and Commissioner Anthony L. Romano has been instrumental in furthering their efforts to enhance the communities they serve.

Philip Swibinski of Vision Media will serve as a senior strategist and his firm will handle campaign media and messaging. Vision Media is one of the state’s leading campaign media consulting firms with clients including the New Jersey Democratic State Committee, Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop, North Bergen Mayor and State Senator Nick Sacco, Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise, Bayonne Mayor Jimmy Davis and many more.
