CRYAN, QUIJANO AND ATKINS TO KICK OFF ‘DAY OF ACTION’ SATURDAY WITH SENATOR MENENDEZ, REP. PAYNE JR., FIRST LADY TAMMY MURPHY AND HUNDREDS OF VOLUNTEERS

UNION – The Cryan for Senate and Quijano and Atkins for Assembly campaign announced they will be joined tomorrow, Saturday, June 4th for a “Day of Action” by Senator Robert Menendez, Rep. Donald Payne, Jr., First Lady Tammy Murphy along with hundreds of volunteers throughout the district.

Rep. Payne Jr. will speak with volunteer canvassers 1218 Stuyvesant Avenue in Union Township at 10 AM while Senator Menendez and the First Lady will help launch one of the campaign’s many GOTV operations in the lobby at 821 Spring Street in Elizabeth at 10:45 AM.

The campaign released the following statement in advance of tomorrow’s “Day of Action” and Tuesday’s Democratic Primary election:

“It has been truly amazing to see the tremendous support we’ve been receiving from throughout Elizabeth, Union, Roselle and Hillside over these last weeks and months.  If successful on Tuesday, we will immediately hit the ground running to continue making sure everyone has access to vaccinations and is afforded every possible protection during this ongoing health crisis.  It will also be among our top priorities to keep pushing forward in the fight to make sure we have the critical education funding we need to help keep property taxes down while making sure every child has access to a quality public education.

We want to thank the First Lady, the Senator, and the Congressman along with the dozens and dozens of state, county and local Democratic officials who have endorsed our efforts.  Most importantly, we want to express our deepest appreciation for all those who have volunteered their time to this campaign today and over the last weeks and months.  We are proud to be the Murphy Team, Democrats in Column A.”
