CSC Welcomes Two New Key Hires to Senior Staff Roles
TRENTON – The New Jersey Civil Service Commission is pleased to announce the appointment of Nancy Whatley Griffin, Esq. as Director of the Division of EEO/AA and Jillian Hendricks as Deputy Director of the Division.
Both Whatley Griffin, Esq. and Hendricks hold vast experience in the implementation of federal and state anti-discrimination laws and policies, including equal employment opportunity and affirmative action.
Ms. Whatley Griffin has served in multiple senior leadership positions in the United States Air Force Reserves. As a senior attorney, she supervised numerous attorneys conducting investigations and enforcing Air Force policies prohibiting discrimination and harassment in the workplace. Since 1996, she has been the Sole Shareholder of the Whatley Griffin Mediation and Law Firm LLC, where she successfully litigated employment discrimination cases in the administrative, state, and federal courts.
Jillian Hendricks has over 20 years working in State government, most recently as the Equal Employment Opportunity Officer, Office of EEO, with the New Jersey Department of Children and Families. She has also served as a Human Resource Consultant 3, Division of EEO/AA, with the New Jersey Department of Personnel, and as an Affirmative Action Specialist, Equity Services, for the New Jersey Department of Labor.
