CUSTIS MAIL PIECE: NOTHING IS ALRIGHT
Challenger Hits Mailboxes Four Weeks Out;
Brings Residents First Message to Voters
(CAMDEN, NJ) – Mayoral candidate Elton Custis today released his first mail piece, “Nothing is Alright,” speaking truth to power and outlining his plan to put residents first.
“Enough pretending,” said Elton Custis, a member of the Camden City School District Advisory Board. “People are hurting, our community is suffering, and the folks in city hall wanna make it out to be like a Hallmark card.”
Custis, the only anti-establishment candidate elected citywide, is running with Carmen Lozada-Cooper, Hector Rojas, and Carla Benson for council.
“Everywhere we go people are telling us story-after-story of how unhappy they are with the state of Camden,” said Custis. “They want real solutions, not soundbites made for social media.”
Custis and his team have a Residents First Plan, one that will open up Camden’s economy, attract new businesses, rebuild the city’s infrastructure, close the academic achievement gap, and generate real and lasting tax revenue.
