CWA HOLDING RALLY OUTSIDE ST. BARNABAS MEDICAL CENTER

CWA LOCAL 1091 Represents Nurses 

 

(LIVINGSTON, NEW JERSEY) – Thursday December 19th the Communications Workers of America (CWA) Local 1091 will hold an informational rally outside St Barnabas Medical Center.

 

CWA represents over 1,300 nurses at the hospital. This action will shine a light on the need for a fair wage increase and to improve staffing levels at the hospital

“Our main goal is to give this community the best and safest care possible,” said Maria Refinski, President CWA Local 1091. “The New Jersey Nurses Union wants to bring public awareness about the focus of our proposals in negotiations – namely adequate staffing levels to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.”
