De Gregorio Raises $403,000 in Challenge to Gottheimer, Announces Endorsements of LD39 Assembly Members

FAIR LAWN – Today, Nick De Gregorio, a Marine Veteran and Republican Candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s Fifth Congressional District, announced that his campaign will report over $403,000 raised on his year-end report for 2021 with $360,000 cash on hand.

“We are grateful to all of our enthusiastic supporters for meeting the great

momentum we are feeling across the Fifth District with the resources we will

need to take on the disastrous Biden agenda – an agenda that has taken

money from our pockets and left families scrambling over the holiday season

to put food on their tables and access COVID-19 tests. This strong quarter

clearly demonstrates that people have grown tired of the inept leadership of

Joe Biden and the pathetic excuses Democrats in Congress like Josh Gottheimer continue to make for him. Real change is coming this November.”

In addition to raising this impressive sum as a first-time candidate since exploring a run in October 2021, De Gregorio proudly announced the endorsement of District 39 Assemblyman Robert Auth (R, Old Tappan) and

Assemblywoman DeAnne DeFuccio (R, Upper Saddle River).

“Nick is our choice to represent us in Congress because we know he will use

the same strength and determination as he did while honorably serving his

country overseas to fight for the Fifth District in Congress,” said Auth and

DeFuccio.

They continued: “Washington is leaderless and broken. Politicians like Joe

Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and their enabler Josh Gottheimer have only made life

harder and more unaffordable for families here in New Jersey. Inflation –

thanks to socialist spending sprees supported by Josh – is spiraling out of

control and press releases and letters just won’t cut it anymore. We need someone with a backbone to stand up and finally say no for all of us.”
