DeCroce Fighting to Bring ‘Effective Conservatism’ to Trenton; Cites Experience & Record of Accomplishment

(Parsippany, NJ) Declaring that New Jersey needs effective conservative leadership in the statehouse, BettyLou DeCroce has kicked off her campaign for the June 6th Republican Primary election as she seeks the party’s nomination for State Assembly.
She is running in the new 26th Legislative District that encompasses eastern Morris County and western Passaic County.
DeCroce, who served for nine years in the Assembly and authored scores of bills to improve the life of veterans, women, senior citizens, taxpayers and crime victims, says the New Jersey needs more active Republicans to challenge the woke Democrats’ agenda and change New Jersey for the better.
“I’m afraid too many Republicans have become too complacent and have become complacent about being the minority party,” said DeCroce. “They accept the status quo and do not work for change. I want to partner with Republicans who work inside and outside of Trenton to build a grass roots movement to overhaul the far-left agenda that has gripped Gov. Murphy’s administration.”

DeCroce’s “Effective Conservatism” plan calls for better informing residents about the perils of Democratic policies and moving them to action. She intends to hold regular townhall meetings in the district to mobilize residents and taxpayers to fight such extreme Democrat policies such as the state’s school sex curriculum and the emerging state policy to outlaw natural gas powered appliances.

“As a mother and grandmother, I stand with parents who have a right to have a significant say in their children’s education and not be branded by the government as outlaws for doing so,” said DeCroce.
DeCroce decried the legislators who call themselves conservatives but get nothing done for the people they represent. “They make nice speeches in Trenton. But what do they accomplish?”
“I’m pro-family, pro-business and pro-taxpayer and I have more experience in government than most people already in the state legislature. I know how to get things done,” said DeCroce.
Among DeCroce’s many accomplishments are:
• Helping Wounded Veterans
• Lowering Prescription Costs
• Fighting Sexual Harassment
• Protect women from Stalkers
• Fighting for a statewide audit of education spending
• Helping small businesses succeed
