The Delran Republicans call for the resignation of Mayor Gary Catrambone for a severe lack of judgement in his appointment of Wendy Mitchell as communications director. Ms. Mitchell allegedly authored a blog in Which she claimed that a local activist had faked cancer to sell cannabis products, as well as many other false and libelous claims. This comes on the heels of a 300k settlement with a local landscaping company that accused the mayor of RICO violations, abuse of power, and Harassment. The Mayor also had used his nephews company, which was located at the same address as his DJ business, to provide entertainment at a public even to the tune of thousands of dollars in tax money. We ask that the mayor step aside respectfully.
