Democrats Council President Teresa Gilbreath and Paula Gilligan to Run for Glen Rock Borough Council

Glen Rock, NJ – Council President Teresa Gilbreath and longtime resident Paula Gilligan are running for Glen Rock Borough Council. Councilmember Rob Dill will not be seeking reelection after a successful three-year term and will be pursuing a doctorate degree beginning in August.

“It has been an honor to serve this wonderful community and to meet so many incredible residents over the last three years. I am proud of the work that my colleagues and I have accomplished, and I look forward to supporting Teresa Gilbreath and Paula Gilligan for Borough Council this year,” Councilmember Dill said.

During her first two years on Borough Council, Council President Gilbreath helped to launch the Glen Rock Perennial, a newsletter for Glen Rock seniors, spearheaded an evaluation of the E-Code, improved infrastructure, co-chaired the first “Senior Fest,” and organized the 2022 calendar.

Paula Gilligan has been active in local and national politics for several decades. Her activism has included movements for civil and reproductive rights, protections for our environment, and supporting Democratic campaigns. She has lived in Glen Rock for over twenty years and raised her three sons here.

Gilligan said, “I’m thrilled and inspired to join such a great team. I’m eager to contribute to the initiatives that this enthusiastic Council is implementing. I look forward to seeing and hearing from all our residents, and I am determined to keep Glen Rock the compassionate and caring community that it really is. I hope to earn your vote on November 8.”
