DGA Statement on Jack Ciattarelli’s Campaign Announcement

Today, former failed GOP candidate for governor Jack Ciattarelli announced his campaign for governor of New Jersey in 2025. DGA Political Director Jordy Zeigler issued the following statement:

“New Jersey voters already rejected Jack Ciattarelli’s extreme agenda once before, and they will do it again – if he manages to survive what will likely become a crowded and nasty GOP primary race.

“Ciattarelli’s harmful record includes attending a Stop The Steal rally and embracing Trump’s Big Lie that encouraged the deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol, endorsing irresponsible tax giveaways to the wealthiest that will bankrupt the state, and attacking LGBTQ+ and reproductive rights.

“Ciattarelli threatens to undo all the progress New Jersey has seen under Gov. Phil Murphy’s leadership. We won’t let that happen, and we will continue reminding New Jersey voters of Ciattarelli’s out-of-touch agenda that puts MAGA extremism first and New Jersey families last.”
