DOMBROWSKI: “THE ONLY CANDIDATE STANDING TALL AGAINST OVER DEVELOPMENT IS ME”

RETIRED LABOR OFFICIAL STRESSES “OUTSIDER STATUS” IN RACE FOR CEDAR GROVE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL SEAT

Cedar Grove – Robert “Bobby” Dombrowski, a confidential aide to an Essex County Supervisor and retired state employee; is asking Cedar Grove voters to “compare and contrast” who is really on the side of taxpayers and homeowners.

In what has become a competitive and spirited battle for the remainder of a term on the Cedar Grove governing body, candidate Dombrowski is urging voters to make a “side-by-side” comparison of who is the true homeowner’s choice.

“My wife Linda and I are just regular citizens who want to make a difference for homeowners and taxpayers. When it comes to over development in the community, I am not endorsed by the very individuals who allowed it to happen. I am the one true and tried independent who represents a change from the status quo and I’m proud of that contrast with my opponent,” offered Dombrowski who previously was employed on a part-time basis by former NJ Senator Garry Furnari, now a judge and current NJ Senator Paul Sarlo (D-36) of Bergen County.

“My campaign is about knocking on doors, greeting voters at the post office and listening to the concerns of our residents. Many of them are new to the community and feel left out. My candidacy gives a voice to these homeowners who just want to be part of the electoral process,” offered the retired state employee.

“I have a unique skill set and the time to serve because I’m retired. I have the ability to focus on the issues at hand that Cedar Grove residents truly care about. For me, I will work harder because I can and will offer “out of the box” solutions to remain a choice of the majority of residents who don’t really feel represented in a way most would like.”

Dombrowski also stressed he is not accepting campaign contributions from developers, builders or speculators seeking projects in the community.

“My campaign is grass roots and for people. It is difficult to say the least to accept big donations from those seeking to develop and I believe that makes me a more attractive choice for Cedar Grove.”

Dombrowski will continue to tout his “5-Point, Taxpayer Protection Plan”:

  • Oppose over development and be a voice for taxpayers and homeowner’s
  • Listen to community needs and concerns. Be a voice for those felt left out
  • Be an advocate for Cedar Grove as an affordable, suburban and crime-free community
  • Continue to meet voters during my term of office
  • Work with county, state and federal partners so that COVID-19 is flattened, controlled and eliminated
