Duch, Vagianos, & Ordway Endorsed by UAW

RIDGEWOOD N.J. –  Thomas Duch, Paul Vagianos, and Christine Ordway were endorsed by the United Automobile, Aerospace & Agricultural Implement Workers of America Union (UAW) Region 9.

The UAW is a manufacturing workers’ union of local and multinational private firms, as well as public sector employees. With over 400,000 active members and 500,000 retired members, the UAW is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America.

“We thank UAW for their support,” said Christine Ordway. “Unions are the pathway to the middle-class for so many New Jerseyans. Tom, Paul, and I stand with our sisters and brothers in labor who form the foundation of our strong economy.”

About Duch • Vagianos • Ordway
Thomas Duch, current City Manager of Garfield, is a resident of Wyckoff who is running for the NJ Senate. Tom has served both as the Mayor of Garfield and in the NJ State Assembly from 1987 – 1991. Paul Vagianos, owner of It’s Greek to Me restaurant in Ridgewood, is running for the NJ Assembly. In addition to his experience as a small business owner, he has served as Deputy Attorney General on the NJ Environmental Prosecutions Task Force, is a professor at Manhattan College, and is the current President of the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce. Christine Ordway, a CPA with an MBA in Finance, is running for the NJ Assembly. She worked for many years at Ernst and Young as an auditor, and taught elementary school while raising her family.
