Dunellen, NJ – Did you know the world record holder for the women’s 400 meter hurdles is Dunellen’s own Sydney McLaughlin? Since earning two gold medals in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics at the beginning of August, Sydney is now on route to Dunellen to be honored at the Columbia Park Track Naming Ceremony on Saturday, August 28 at 9:30 AM at 200 Orange Street, Dunellen.
We invite fans, community members and visitors to this celebratory event. Wear your red, white and blue to show your support for Sydney’s exceptional accomplishments. Free parking will be available a five-minute walk away at the Dunellen Train Station, which is located at S. Washington Ave. and New Market Rd. Parking at Columbia Park will be limited to persons with disabilities. Pedestrians may enter the park at Columbia Street and Orange Street.
