Egg Harbor Township Republican Committee Endorses Van Drew

The Egg Harbor Township Republican Committee released the following statement after voting unanimously last night to endorse Republican Congressman Jeff Van Drew for re-election and recommend that their United Republican Club award him all of their delegate votes at the Atlantic County Republican Convention on March 21st.

“Egg Harbor Township’s motto is the “Heart of Atlantic County” and as Republicans we pride ourselves on consistently producing the largest number of Republican votes in Atlantic County during both primary and general elections. Our municipal Republican committee of more than three dozen members voted unanimously last night to endorse Congressman Van Drew so our party is united and excited to re-elect President Trump and Congressman Van Drew in 2020.”

Egg Harbor Township has the largest Republican convention delegation in Atlantic County with roughly one third of the votes needed to secure the nomination.
