EMILY’s List Endorses Darcy Draeger for State Assembly
Chester, NJ -EMILY’s List, the nation’s largest resource for women running for office announced its endorsement of Darcy Draeger for LD25 State Assembly.
“Darcy has diverse experience on Wall Street working toward effective, financially-sound solutions, and as a farmer selling goods in her community. With these unique perspectives, Darcy will fight for all New Jerseyans. EMILY’s List is thrilled to stand with Darcy in her campaign for the 25th Assembly District,” said Sarah Curmi, interim vice president of state and local campaigns at EMILY’s List.
“I am honored to earn the support of EMILY’s List,’ says Draeger. “We need more women in office, but not just any women. We must have representatives who will work to advance women’s equality, protect reproductive healthcare, and who understand that we cannot have a thriving economy without women’s full participation. This means supporting strong public health policy and funding our schools and childcare organizations.
Right now, Assemblywoman Aura Dunn is promoting legislation that will fundamentally hurt women. She is trying to undermine Roe v. Wade at the state level, and she refuses to condemn her running mate Senator Anthony Bucco’s anti-women voting record. Our district, and our families, deserves better.”
