Commissioner Wayne Richardson Statement in Support of LaMonica McIver for Congress

LaMonica McIver has proven herself to be a dedicated public servant with an unwavering commitment to improving systems and services for the residents of Newark, New Jersey. As past president of the Essex County Board of County Commissioners, and currently as Commissioner-at-large and Manager of Strategic Partnerships for the Laborers, I have had the opportunity to observe and interact with Council President McIver for the past 6 years. I look forward to seeing her passion and dedication continue as she rises to represent New Jersey on the national level. I believe that LaMonica McIver will continue the progressive work of the late Congressman Donald Payne, Jr. and the groundbreaking late Congressman Donald Payne, Sr., and I support her for the position of Congressperson.
