Former Congressional Candidate Brian Varela Issues Statement Thanking Supporters and Endorsing Rebecca Bennett for Congress

Morris County, NJ (June 3, 2026) – "Last night the voters of this district chose Rebecca Bennett as our Democratic nominee to take on and defeat Tom Kean Jr. I called Rebecca last evening to congratulate her and to offer my full support in this effort. Rebecca is a Navy veteran, a business leader, and a common-sense Democrat, and she is going to win. Tom Kean Jr. has voted to cut our healthcare and raise our utility bills, and he has stood in lockstep with Donald Trump's reckless agenda while families across this district pay the price. I got into this race to flip NJ-07, and I am excited to see Rebecca finish the job.
