Former Hainesport Mayor and GOP Chairman Tony Porto endorses Jason Huf for State Assembly

Hainesport fmr. Mayor and GOP Chairman Tony Porto
endorses Jason Huf for State Assembly

Hainesport, NJ- Today, former Republican Chairman and Mayor Tony
Porto formally endorsed Jason Huf for Assembly in New Jersey’s 8th
legislative district.

“This year, Hainesport and Rancocas Valley school districts are
scheduled to have state aid cut by the democrat-controlled state
government. The gas tax is going to increase yet again, after the largest
increase in our state’s history. Our state business climate continues rank
among the worst in the nation. The status quo has failed.

Jason Huf has stepped forward, into the political ring, to fight for
the people. He offers honest and fresh leadership at a time when our
state so dearly needs it. I know him to be an accomplished international
attorney with a sharp mind and sound judgment, which will serve us
well.

On the issues, Jason Huf supports doubling the senior citizen
property tax deduction and making it eligible to the middle class. He
understands that the school aid cuts to South Jersey will result in higher
property taxes and must be opposed. He stands against the liberal
Murphy agenda of tax increases and more government control of our
daily lives.

I endorse Jason Huf for State Assembly, because I know he will
lead the Republican ticket to victory this November, as he offers positive
solutions to our state’s many problems.” -Tony Porto

Tony Porto served on Hainesport Township Committee from
2006-2018 and chairman of the Hainesport Republican Committee from
2016-2018.
