Former Republican Congressional Candidate Rob Kovic Announces Candidacy for Assembly in New Jersey’s 24th Legislative District

Sparta, NJ- Attorney and former Congressional candidate Rob Kovic today announces his intention to seek the Republican nomination for New Jersey Assembly in the 24th legislative district considering current Assemblymen Parker Space and Hal Wirths both announcing their intention not to seek re-election in 2023.

“I am running for the legislature in the 24th because the citizens of NJ have been subjected to Democrats’ empty promises, lies and mismanagement that have led to hardship for our families and businesses, restrictions on our rights and freedoms and diminished the quality of education for our children”, said Kovic. “All because Democrats favor their political party ideology above our families, businesses and our children.”

Overcoming numerous struggles faced by his family, Kovic persevered becoming the first member in his family to graduate college. After collecting a master’s and law degrees, Kovic began practicing law, and has been successfully fighting for his clients for over 20 years. Kovic built a tenacious reputation in the legal community representing family members of the victims of the 9-11 terrorist attacks in New York.

“We have a solid team on the ground, campaign, and fundraising consultants along with a talented group from the congressional campaign. I look forward to convention season and continue meeting municipal chairs, committee members and other stakeholders,” Kovic concluded.

In addition to his law practice, Rob has been active in local government, serving as a Borough Councilman in Sparta and is active with his local Republican Central Committee.

Kovic, a pro-life Republican, believes in fiscal responsibility, aiding small businesses and supporting the trades and skilled workers along with law enforcement. “Conservative values are common sense New Jersey values,” says Kovic. “We believe in hard work, equal opportunity, and the chance to improve the quality of life for our families.”
