Franklin Borough Councilman Stephen Skellenger Endorses Jack Ciattarelli for Governor

Skellenger says Ciattarelli is the only Republican candidate for Governor with a plan to move our state and party in an entirely new direction

Somerville, April 17, 2017- Citing Ciattarelli’s substantive five-point plan focused on fixing the school funding formula to lower property taxes, reforming our state tax code to grow our economy and bipartisan communication to strengthen New Jersey, Franklin Borough Republican Councilman Stephen Skellenger endorsed Jack Ciattarelli for Governor today.

“Our state and our Republican party are in need of a fresh perspective delivered by a charismatic and identifiable leader,” said Skellenger, who also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Sussex County Young Republican Club. “Jack Ciattarelli’s background as an MBA/CPA and successful small business owner makes him uniquely qualified to provide real solutions to problems facing voters in Sussex County and statewide. He is the only Republican candidate that has a plan to fix our broken school funding formula and lower property taxes. That’s why I am proud to endorse him for Governor.”

Ciattarelli, who captured the support of numerous and significant county organizations across the state and recently received over $650,000 in his first round of state matching funds, said Skellenger’s endorsement is part of a growing number of Republicans across the state gravitating to support his candidacy.

“Receiving the support of Councilman Skellenger is not something I take for granted. I’m extremely thankful to him and countless voters across the state that are part of our growing momentum,” said Ciattarelli. “I look forward to continuing to earn the trust, confidence and support of voters in every corner of our state anxious for new leadership and an entirely new direction for our party.”
