The Franklin Township Democratic Committee recommends candidates for the Ward 2
Council seat

On Friday, February 12, 2021 the Committee hosted a virtual meeting to recommend to the Franklin
Township Council three candidates for the currently vacant Ward 2 Council seat, created by the
sudden departure of Will Galtieri who relocated to a neighboring town. Will was serving his final
year of his first term representing Ward 2. Ron Jordan, the Chairman of the Committee mentioned
that a week prior to the meeting a screening committee interviewed interested candidates and
selected the following three: Shepa Uddin, Bob Thomas and Theresa Ford. About 30 members were in
attendance ratifying the slate of recommended candidates.

The Council will announce their selection in the next Regular Public Meeting on February 23,
2021.
