Full Assembly to Act on Legislation To Increase Funding For NJ Arts & Cultural Programs, Establish Blue Alert System, Raise Awareness for ‘Move Over’ Act, Expand Voter Rights, Create Inmate Reentry Programs & Bolster Family Planning Funding in the State

Also, Assembly to Vote on Multiple Measures Honoring the Service of Military Veterans

 

(TRENTON) – The ‘Earn Your Way Out,’ Act and the Restorative Justice in Education Pilot Program, two bills focused on reducing recidivism and improving healthcare and reentry services for the formerly incarcerated, are among the measures to be addressed on the Assembly floor Monday. Legislation that would require a high school student representative to be appointed to local school boards and a bill prohibiting the possession, sale, trade, distribution or offering of shark fins will also be up for a vote.

The voting session is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
