General Michael Flynn Endorses Ian Smith For Congress

Flynn: “Ian Smith was fighting against mandates before any of our ‘leaders’ thought it was the right thing to do.”

DELANCO – Republican candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s 3^rd Congressional District, Ian Smith, announced today he has earned the endorsement of former National Security Advisor, General Michael Flynn.

In a letter endorsing Smith General Flynn wrote, “Ian is a proven fighter. When the government decided to shut down his business, he took a stand and fought back. Ian Smith was fighting against mandates before any of our ‘leaders’ thought it was the right thing to do. I am confident that in Congress Ian Smith will fight against the progressive left’s march toward socialism and be a constant defender of the Constitution.”

“I’m honored to have earned the endorsement of General Flynn,” Ian Smith said. “General Flynn served our nation with honor in the Army for 33 years. He then continued that service as a foreign policy advisor to several Republican presidential candidates. General Flynn is a proven conservative fighter and I am proud to have him on our team.”

General Flynn is the third high-profile conservative Republican to support Smith’s candidacy. Last week Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake endorsed Smith and later this month former congressional candidate Kim Klacik will headline a fundraiser for Smith.
