Get to Know the Morristown Democratic Committee
“Under the Tents” at the Morristown Club

Morristown, September 23, 2020 — The Morristown Democratic Committee is hosting an in-person, socially distanced Fall Cocktail Reception from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 29 at the historic Morristown Club at 27 Elm Street in Morristown.

All are invited to safely socialize with masks required “under the tents” with the Committee and Morris County’s Democratic candidates at this unique Morristown destination and New Jersey’s oldest social club.

Committee Chair Aaron (AJ) Oliver commented, “This an opportunity to meet and support Democratic candidates running in November, to learn about becoming involved in the Committee, and get to know Democrats in town.’

The Democratic Party is growing in Morristown and our plan is to have frequent events and activities that will build the party and promote moving Morristown forward.”

Oliver added, “The Committee has recently participated in a food drive to support nourish.NJ and coordinated the mailing of postcard reminders to Morristown’s unregistered voters. Our plans for Get-Out-The-Vote activities also are ramping up, and we’re reaching out for volunteers.”

The featured guests “under the tents” will include Morristown Mayor, Timothy Dougherty and Morris County Democratic Committee Chair, Chip Robinson. Candidate guests are: Cary Amaro, Morris County Freeholder; Darcy Draeger, LD25 NJ Assembly; Rupande Mehta, LD25 NJ Senate.
