CAMPAIGN STATEMENT ON ADAM SCHIFF DONATION TO GOTTHEIMER CAMPAIGN BEFORE IMPEACHMENT VOTE

Mike Ghassali, Republican candidate for New Jersey’s 5th Congressional District, has called on Democrat Josh Gottheimer to return the $2,000 contribution he received from Congressman Adam Schiff in July of this year.

“Josh Gottheimer wants us to believe that he had a fair and open mind when it came to impeachment proceedings,” said Ghassali.

Ghassali continued, “Josh not only supported impeachment along with AOC and Adam Schiff, but he’s also accepting political contributions from them.”

Ghassali campaign manager Rich Castaldo stated, “Voters in New Jersey need to know that there are two Josh Gottheimers—one who says he’s fair and bi-partisan and one that votes with the most radical elements of the Democratic party. The people of New Jersey want results, not typical politician doublespeak. It is very clear that Josh Gottheimer has stopped representing us and is now representing DC special interests.”
