Gina Verdibello Endorses the Education Matters Teaam

As Manager of the Education Matters team, I am proud to announce that we have received the announcement & support of JCBOE Trustee Gina Verdibello.  Gina shares the many values and goals that our team has for bettering our school district.  Mrs. Verdibello is a visible advocate that constantly visits our school facilities and goes out of her way to get feedback from parents, educators, support staff  and students which is something that our team hopes to continue and expand on when they are on the Board.   (Please see Gina Verdibello’s letter of endorsement below)
Dear Voters:

I am writing this letter in support of the Education Matters Team 2021. I am writing this on my own behalf and not of the board. This year is critical to select the most qualified candidates to join the Jersey City Board of Education.

Firstly, I truly support Natalia Ioffe. She is a parent, like myself, that really cares about the students, parents, teachers and staff. She has been dedicated to attending board meetings, heading the Concerned Parents Association (CPA) at PS16 and instrumental in helping obtain
the payroll tax which collects revenues from businesses in Jersey City that ultimately goes to the schools. I trust that she will be a great addition to the board.

In addition, I am happy to support Younass Barkouch and Paula Jones. Younass is a product of the Jersey City schools and is an active member of the Jersey City community and Paula, a
retired educator of the Jersey City public schools, understands the  needs of our students. In these unprecedented times we need leadership and board members that are willing to do what is right
for the students of Jersey CIty. Please join me in supporting the Education Matters Team 1F,
2F, 3F.

Sincerely,
Gina Verdibello
