Morristown & Princeton, New Jersey—Good Grief announced today its annual 5K Run & Walk community event is returning to the Giralda Farms campus in Madison, NJ on Sunday, June 6, 2021.

The event features activities for the entire family including a 5K Run, 2 Mile Walk, Kid Dashes, Family Activities, a Memorial Wall, and more for those attending in person. Those who participate remotely will have access to a virtual 5K course and a livestream broadcast via YouTube and Facebook.

“Our annual 5K Run & Walk brings together Good Grief families, friends and the extended community to run or walk in memory of someone significant in their lives who has died,” said Good Grief CEO Joe Primo. “Our event has grown in popularity every year, but it has special significance considering the impact of the past year and on our lives and those we love”

Registration for the 5K Run & Walk is now open at support.good-grief.org In the four weeks leading up to the event, registered participants can enjoy activities, challenges, messages of inspiration and creative ways to involve family and friends. Registration closes at midnight on June 3 and there will be no onsite event-day registration.

“We are already seeing tremendous excitement about our event,” continued Primo. “Whether people participate individually, as part of a team, in-person or virtually, they will be part of an amazing community of supporters coming together to raise awareness and funds for grieving children.”
