GOP Dominates in Monmouth County

Freehold, NJ – With huge wins at the County level and 4 legislative districts, the Monmouth County Republican Committee had a strong election night! We won Legislative District 12, Legislative District 13, Legislative District 30, and took back two Assembly seats in Legislative District 11, which has 14,000 more registered Democrats than Republicans. At the top of the County ticket, Surrogate-Elect Maureen Raisch and Commissioner Sue Kiley won by over 45,000 votes.

On the local level we flipped 12 seats in Fair Haven, Keyport, Marlboro, Matawan, Neptune City, Sea Bright, and Spring Lake Borough. The Republicans beat back challenges in Belmar, Eatontown, and Manasquan and crushed the Democrats in Middletown, with a 2 to 1 margin.

In all, the GOP won 61 seats, sweeping in Hazlet, Holmdel, and Manalapan and going unchallenged in Brielle, Colts Neck, Farmingdale, Freehold Township, Little Silver, Oceanport, Rumson, Sea Girt, Shrewsbury Borough, Spring Lake Heights, Union Beach, Upper Freehold, Wall, and West Long Branch.
