GOTTHEIMER LAUNCHES 2024 CONGRESSIONAL CAMPAIGN AND ANNOUNCES CAMPAIGN CO-CHAIRS

Deep Support from Fifth District Local Elected Officials,
Community Leaders, First Responders, and Organized Labor

WYCKOFF, NJ — Today, Congressman Josh Gottheimer announced his 2024 Congressional re-election campaign, naming an impressive group of Campaign Co-Chairs. The four-term Congressman, who represents 65 towns in parts of Bergen, Passaic, and Sussex counties in North Jersey, showcased broad support among local elected officials, community leaders, first responders, and organized labor.

Since taking office, Gottheimer has built a record of standing up for Jersey Values, working with all sides to get things done that are best for families in the Fifth Congressional District and across the state. As Co-Chair of the Bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus, Gottheimer has been an important and vocal leader in the fight for commonsense over extremism. Determined to find common ground on the difficult challenges facing our communities and our nation, Gottheimer has always put Jersey and our country’s future ahead of partisanship.

“I am honored that so many outstanding leaders will be spearheading my re-election campaign this year. I know their insights and experience will be invaluable to me and our campaign. Above all, they are problem solvers who believe in commonsense solutions and serving our communities.”

“It’s a distinct honor to serve the people of the Fifth District, and I couldn’t be more humbled or proud to be seeking re-election to the United States Congress,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer. “My commitment to the District and to Jersey remains steadfast – to champion our common bonds and bring people together to defeat extremism and the politics of division, and to always fight to make life more affordable for our communities, expand opportunities for everyone, and claw federal dollars back to Jersey for our hardworking families. From choice to child care to clean air to supporting our first responders and veterans, I will always have the backs of Jersey families.”
