Gottheimer, Local North Jersey Officials Deliver Face masks for Paramus Veterans Home Frontline Health Care Workers

PARAMUS, NJ – Today, June 4, 2020, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) visited the Paramus Veterans Home to deliver face masks donated by Fifth District constituents for frontline health care workers and facility staff.

Gottheimer was joined by NJ State Senator Joseph Lagana, NJ Assemblywoman Lisa Swain, NJ Assemblyman Chris Tully, Paramus Mayor Richard LaBarbiera, and Paramus Councilman Pat Verile.

“The health crisis continuing in our long-term care facilities and our state-run veterans homes is horrific and we must do everything we can to get our frontline workers, staff, and residents the equipment and protection they need,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “I’m sincerely grateful to the Fifth District residents who came together to make these masks, for State Senator Lagana, Assemblywoman Swain, Assemblyman Tully, Mayor LaBarbiera, and Councilman Verile for all their support, for the veterans home staff working tirelessly to care for these residents, and for everyone across North Jersey for coming together during these difficult times.”
