Gottheimer Wins U.S. Chamber of Commerce Jefferson-Hamilton Bipartisanship Award

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Chamber of Commerce honored Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) with the Jefferson-Hamilton Award for Bipartisanship for the second year in a row. The award recognizes Members of Congress who have demonstrated bipartisan leadership and a willingness to work across the aisle in support of common goals.

“Now, more than ever, we see the importance of putting country and governing over partisan politics and gridlock,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5), the Co-Chair of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus. “In Congress, I’m going to continue working together with anyone, Democrat or Republican, if the end result is good for Jersey and lives up to our values. That’s the only way we’ll actually solve the problems facing our nation and our communities.”

“These awards recognize members of Congress who demonstrated a commitment to advancing bipartisan solutions that address our nation’s problems and move our economy forward,” said U.S. Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Suzanne Clark. “In a time of intense polarization and gridlock, Josh Gottheimer’s record of working across the aisle is to be commended.”
