Governor Phil Murphy today ordered that the U.S. and New Jersey flags be flown at half-staff at all state buildings and facilities on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, in recognition of the passing of former Assembly Speaker Pro Tempore Nicholas R. Felice.

“Assemblyman Felice was an exemplary public servant who fought for the residents of Fair Lawn and the 40th Legislative District continually over the course of his decades-long service as a mayor and legislator,” said Governor Murphy. “His kindness, good humor, and willingness to put people before politics will be remembered fondly.”
