Governor Murphy Endorses Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr. for Re-Election to Congress

 

“A proud son of the south side of Paterson, Bill Pascrell has never forgotten where he came from or lost sight of the values that his parents and immigrant grandparents instilled in him from a young age: hard work, responsibility, and serving your community.

 

“As the first member of his family to graduate from high school, Bill served our country with distinction in the U.S. Army before becoming a teacher. He then entered public service as a member of the State Assembly and as Mayor of Paterson. For the past 27 years, he’s represented North Jersey in Congress — keeping our communities safe, protecting a woman’s right to choose, and standing up for our democracy. He’s also secured critical funding to hire new police officers in Paterson — a pivotal investment that has helped lower crime in the city.
