Since 2017, the Great Swamp Great Music festival fundraiser, GSWA’s second largest annual fundraiser, has provided a lively, family-friendly atmosphere while supporting the organization’s important work.

“This event is where music and community come together in a way that benefits our souls and the environment,” stated Val Thorpe, GSWA Director of Communications & Membership and festival producer. “It’s a relaxing afternoon with family and friends in the fresh air at a scenic venue… this is what summer is all about.

New this year is the Kids’ Corner with arts and crafts, games, and professional face painting. The festival also offers food trucks with a variety of food including wings, hotdogs and burgers, vegan options, ice cream, funnel cake, and more. Beer, wine, and hard cider will be available for purchase with proper ID. Local merchandise vendors will be on-site for browsing and shopping, and two big tents offer shade on a sunny day. Parking is free and plentiful.

“We are excited to hold our popular music festival at this beautiful new venue, Brook Valley Farm, which was graciously offered by the Platt family,” stated Sally Rubin, Executive Director. “Flanked by a lush, wooded mountainside and the historic Gibbons Horse Barn stables built in 1834, it has a rich history in Morris County and is listed in the National and State Register of Historic Places.”
