GUN VIOLENCE STATE ASSEMBLY BILL A-4563 RALLY  KICKS OFF CAMPAIGN ON ‘NATIONAL NIGHT OUT’

Assemblyman Jamel Holley (20th District) will introduce his proposed Anti-Violence Bill A-4563
in front of the Union County Courthouse.

Salaam Ismial Director National United Youth Council and Chairman of NJ Anti-Violence Coalition will announce plans for a 15 city Anti-Violence Peace Tour.

The effort comes at the heals of President Joe Biden crack down on gun Violence and other forms of violence . Violence is up 23% from last year and some reporting say it can get worst than the 90s.

Holley will explain details of his historic Bill that will establish Divisions on Violence Prevention and Intervention in all 21 counties making it the first of it’s kind in America.

“We can do more to help counties reduce all forms of violence in their communities with access to the right resources that focuses only on violence reduction and prevention” said Assemblyman Holley

The propose initiative was first introduced to Holley
by Ismial who served in 2015 as Co-Chairman of New Jersey Study Commission on Violence.

“Violence is totally out of control.  Cities are crying out and overburdened with this crisis” said Ismial
