Healey calls on Murphy to end school mask mandate now
“Waiting another month is not acceptable”
February 7, 2022, Moorestown – Today, businessman, new father, and philanthropist Bob Healey, Jr. released the following statement and is circulating a petition in reaction to Governor Murphy’s announcement that he will keep the school mask mandate in place until the middle of March.
The Republican Candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s Third Congressional District, called on Murphy to end the school mask mandate immediately and is circulating a petition to empower frustrated parents who are concerned over their children’s education and welfare.
“This is not a Republican or a Democratic issue, but rather an issue regarding a complete lack of leadership that is hurting our kids and eroding the public’s trust. A child’s health care is a parent’s choice. Waiting another month to end the mask mandate is not acceptable. In light of Governor Murphy’s announcement, I am circulating a petition to empower parents in Burlington, Monmouth and Mercer County to make their voices heard.”
Healey concluded: “Unfortunately, liberal rubber stamp Andy Kim will not stand up for the people of this district. We need a change. I’m running as a common sense conservative who believes in individual freedom, empowering parents, and a rational approach to the COVID-19 pandemic that saves lives, but also protects childhoods that have been under attack for far too long here in New Jersey and now in Washington.”
