Heavy and General Construction Laborers Local 472 Endorses Michael J. Silva for Newark East Ward Council Race

Newark: Today, The Heavy and General Construction Laborers Local 472 announced their endorsement of Michael J. Silva for Newark’s East Ward City Council seat. This union endorsement is yet another crucial endorsement for Silva’s campaign in just the  past week.

“We could not be more excited to endorse Michael J. Silva for the East Ward Council seat,” said Tony Oliveira, Business Manager of Local 472. “As the son of one of our local members, Michael understands the importance of good paying union jobs within our community. He is just another example of what growing up in a union household can do for the future of Newark Families. Michael has been with our community since day one and we are excited to stand with Michael as he runs to represent the East Ward  in City Hall.”
