HOBOKEN BUSINESS ALLIANCE ANNOUNCES SHARE THE LOVE GIFT CARD PROGRAM TO DRIVE SPENDING FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES

Return of Popular Discounted Gift Card Program Encourages Shoppers to Support Their Favorite Hoboken Retail, Shops, and Services Throughout the Year

HOBOKEN, N.J., (February 11, 2020) – Today, the Hoboken Business Alliance (HBA) announced its Share the Love Gift Card Program that allows residents and visitors to purchase $25-value gift cards for $15 from many local businesses. Discounted gift cards will be available for purchase starting this Sunday, February 14 through February 24, 2021, while supplies last (limit of two per customer at each participating business). As part of the program, the Hoboken Business Alliance covers the cost difference, helping hometown businesses flourish and giving residents even more reasons to shop locally. There are more than 125 participating small businesses this year, so customers will once again have the opportunity to get more for their money while supporting local eateries, retail shops, salons, wellness services, fitness studios, and more.

Many local businesses continue to expand their offerings, looking for creative ways to safely serve their loyal customers, and are still very much in need of a boost in financial support following close to a year of disruption. Through the HBA’s Share the Love Gift Card Program, shoppers can purchase up to two discounted gift cards directly from each participating business. In partnership with the Heal Hoboken Collective, in honor of Hoboken’s healthcare heroes, anyone that shows their medical ID has the opportunity to purchase up to four discounted gift cards at each participating business. The full list of participating businesses where customers can get a $25-value gift card for $15 is available at hobokenbusinessalliance.com/share-the-love.

“Our focus is to help drive spending to our local business community that has been hit hard by the pandemic by incentivizing customers to purchase gift cards now and have a reason to go back and visit later,” said Gregory Dell’Aquila, President of the Hoboken Business Alliance. “These businesses are the heart of Hoboken and help make our city a vibrant place to live, work, and visit. It’s critical we continue to show up and do what we can to help them thrive during these challenging times.”

Whether used for some much-needed self-care, a gift for a loved one, or a night off from cooking, people can purchase gift cards from their local favorites or discover some new businesses to love. To purchase $25-value gift cards for only $15 dollars, visit any of the participating locations during business operating hours from February 14 – 24, 2021, while supplies last.
