Hoboken Councilman Russo Releases Bold Recreation Proposals, Including State-of-the-Art Waterfront Pool Complex, and Announces Fourth Policy Town Hall Event On May 28

Hoboken, NJ – May 14, 2024 – Today, Dr. Michael Russo introduced a lengthy series of recreation proposals as a roadmap for Hoboken’s future. The proposals can be found at https://www.drmichaelrussonj.com/recreation.

“The land we live on in Hoboken is truly special, and that means we’ve got to have the best recreation possible,” said Councilman Dr. Michael Russo. “So I surveyed hundreds of residents—and based on their feedback, I’m proposing a bold path forward—including a state-of-the-art pool complex on the waterfront, revamping our program offerings with a focus on Hoboken residents, and more. The proposal starts off with the survey results, and then gets into the big ideas."

Dr. Russo has also announced a companion town hall event, which will be held at Psycho Mike’s Therapy Bar and Grill, at 7:00 PM on May 28th, 2025. Appetizers will be served, and Hoboken residents and stakeholders are invited to come share their thoughts.
