The Hoboken Girl Team Donating $1000 to Local Non-Profit in Giving Tuesday Giveaway

Hoboken, New Jersey — The countdown to the world’s ‘Biggest Day of Generosity,’ Giving Tuesday 2021, is on — and one local Hudson County non-profit is going to receive $1,000 from our Hoboken Girl team.

In an effort to spread the cheer and magic of the holiday season, we are thrilled to announce this year’s Hoboken Girl Gives Back Ultimate Giveaway — where one lucky reader will receive exciting prizes from nine local businesses, and get the opportunity to pick where to donate $1000 to a local Hudson County non-profit via the Hoboken Girl team.

This ultimate giveaway will take place virtually on Monday, November 29th through Tuesday, November 30th on Instagram @TheHobokenGirl. The winner will be announced Wednesday, December 1st.

The winner will also win prizes from all local shops including Vintage on First, YaaYaa Natural, CoolVines Hoboken, The Studio at Hoboken, Belo Bar, Cheese + Wine, Pursue PT, Health in Hands Spa, and F45 Training Hoboken North.

“We are always trying to think of innovative ways to give back to our community,” The Hoboken Girl founder Jennifer Tripucka shared. “Last month we raised over 38,000 period/tampon supplies in collaboration with The Flow Initiative, and this month, we’re giving our readers the opportunity to both support small and give back in a bigger way.”

In the past, Hoboken Girl has organized monthly events connecting readers to non-profits in the community and donating proceeds to causes, but this is the first of its kind for the brand, giving readers the opportunity to pick where the proceeds go. In September 2021, the brand donated almost $1000 of its Hoboken Wellness Crawl proceeds to the Hoboken Food Pantry in uptown Hoboken.

“We’re hopeful these small acts of kindness infused throughout the year inspire others to give back in whatever way feels comfortable — whether it be through time, supplies, sharing, or donations,” Tripucka shared. “‘Tis always the season.”

This initiative is also happening on Hoboken Girl’s sister site, The Montclair Girl, where another $1000 will be donated to an Essex county non-profit of choice.
