Hogan: I Will Not Allow Kelly to Rewrite History and Erase Trauma She and Chris Christie Inflicted on Bergen County

NORTHVALE NJ — Bergen County Clerk Democrat John Hogan’s re-election campaign is releasing two new digital ads attacking his Republican opponent Bridget Kelly for her role in shutting down access lanes to the George Washington Bridge and causing the “Bridgegate” scandal. The 15 second digital ads are running on both Facebook and as pre-roll videos targeted to likely Bergen County voters.

“Bridgegate Kelly can’t hide from her past doing Chris Christie’s dirty work and inflicting the kind of serious trauma on the people of Bergen County that can never be forgiven, and we are running this campaign to make sure that voters remember her role in the notorious Bridgegate Scandal,” said County Clerk John Hogan. “Letting someone with Kelly’s history of misusing government resources to settle political scores loose in the County Clerk’s office would be a disaster that would threaten the integrity of our electoral process itself, so we are calling on all Bergen County voters to reject ‘Bridgegate’ Kelly once and for all by voting for the Column 1 Democratic team.”
