Hotel and Gaming Trades Council Endorses Team Davis
One of NJ’s Leading Labor Unions Backs Mayor and Council Slate
BAYONNE, N.J. — Mayor Jimmy Davis and his entire Council team are being endorsed by the Hotel and Gaming Trades Council, one of New Jersey’s leading and most effective labor unions. Citing Mayor Davis’ strong support for working families and responsible economic development, the influential union adds a strong boost to Mayor Davis’ campaign as Election Day nears.
“I am proud that our Union is endorsing Mayor Davis and his team today,” said Hotel and Gaming Trades Council President Rich Maroko. “Mayor Davis has been a steadfast advocate for working people in Bayonne and an ally to hotel workers in particular. I have great confidence in this team, and I look forward to the Mayor’s continued leadership in the years to come.”
“I would like to thank Rich Maroko and the men and women of the Hotel Trades and Gaming Council for their support,” said Mayor Davis. “Bayonne has always been a union town and we’re proud that our city is home to hard working, blue collar people who know the value of a day’s work. Our team will always fight to make sure Bayonne delivers for working families.”
